Upon arriving in Colombia, I found a group of open and curious people, eager to learn something new that would also help them reconnect with themselves. As the sessions progressed, they realized that what they were receiving was much deeper knowledge: the power to interact with their own energy systems and transform their perception of everyday life.
Kyusho, as I explained to them, is not just a set of combat techniques. It is an art that involves a deep knowledge of anatomy and how energy flows through the body. Through the practices I shared in Colombia, I taught students to activate their natural energy flow, unblock tensions, and become more receptive to sensations that normally go unnoticed.
In the context of Sensory Energetics, the key is to reactivate the senses. Throughout our lives, we tend to lose sensitivity to everyday experiences, becoming apathetic or insensitive. In the classes, we show how to intensify our sensory experiences – from sight, sound, touch and taste, to pleasure and emotional connection. In Colombia, we worked not only on unlocking internal energy, but also on how to project that energy towards others, whether a partner or a client, without the need for physical contact.
Most eye-opening was seeing the transformation in the students. By learning to send waves of energy and restore their nervous system, many experienced a sensory and emotional renaissance. We worked on guiding others through unconventional states, awakening sensuality, and releasing physical and emotional tension built up in the body.
The group in Colombia absorbed everything with surprising passion, and I could sense that these teachings were going to have a deep and lasting impact on their lives. From helping others manage their emotions to improving harmonious interaction with their partners and loved ones, the holistic approach of these practices really resonated with them.
This trip to Colombia was a transformative experience for both me and the students. The energy we shared and the connections that were formed are a reminder that the true power of these teachings lies in their ability to transform lives from the inside out. I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of this process and excited for what is to come in the future. This is just the beginning of a path we will continue to explore together!
